Although the races and the cruises are certainly social events, the Club also hosts a variety of parties during the year. Most are held in the homes of members so there is always a good variety of venues and themes.  Always on the lookout for something different, our social chairs have put together oyster roasts, chili cook-offs, murder mystery dinners, newlywed game parties, pool parties, fifties parties, and valentines and Halloween parties. Sometimes it is just a good old pot luck get together for home cooked food and fellowship.  Please contact any board member on the “Officers” page to find out about upcoming events on the club’s calendar.

The Club produces a monthly newsletter, the Rhumb Line.  This publication is mailed to all members, as well as other sail clubs in the area.  It, along with this website, serves as the communication medium to let members know about upcoming events, needs and news of the Club, and news about it's members.  There is a "For Sail" column where members can list boat-related items for sale.  Yearly sponsorship for a business card-sized ad is $100.00.
