The cruising schedule for the Club begins in April with a trip to Oddingsell, a lovely anchorage on the south end of Wassaw Island. There is a small beach where the cruisers gather for evening socials, or just to take a stroll.

On Memorial weekend, cruisers head south to St. Catherine's Island and anchor in Walburg Creek. The annual trek is about a full day's journey down the Intracoastal, and typically is the best attended cruise of the year. Socializing and sunning, horseshoes and volleyball, and the evening beach parties make for a fun long weekend to kick off the summer season.

The 4th of July is our mid-summer outing, and when it falls near a weekend cruisers take advantage of extra days off to spend on the water. Destinations vary, but Blackbeard Island is a favorite when the tides are right.

Labor Day finds the club cruisers at Harbor Town, Hilton Head Island. Given the hot, humid weather that time of year, cruisers treat themselves to the luxury of being in port instead of on the hook. Power for air conditioners, picnic area for gatherings, bike rentals for the annual ride to South Beach, and several restaurants to choose from within easy walking distance make this a popular event. Some folks rent condos to join in the fun if they don't have a boat to bring.

And finally, the Christmas Boat Parade is held the first Saturday evening in December. Club members and other boat owners deck their vessels with hundreds of lights, Santas, reindeer, and noisy generators to power it all. Boats parade from the Skidaway River to the Thunderbolt Bridge. In 2006, the Club joined with the Savannah Yacht Club for this event. The Yacht Club provided dockage to participating boats and hosted a superb all you can eat seafood buffet.
