Vice Commodore: Chic Meyer
The speaker for our January meeting is Kris
Williams who will present information on the
Carretta Research Project. This is a sea turtle
research and conservation program conducted on
Wassaw Island. Kris is the program director and has
been working with sea turtles for over 20 years. I
expect this to be a very interesting program about
sea life which we, as boaters, all enjoy and
appreciate.
Also, I would like some volunteers. I would like to do a program this year which features our members' (captains and admirals) favorite recipes prepared on board. If you are willing to participate, please give me a call at 912 547-2806 or email. Finally, as far as programs are concerned, if you have an idea for a program which you think would be of interest to our group, please give me a call or email me.
I appreciate everyone's help to make the programs this year beneficial and interesting, and look forward to seeing you on Monday. As a reminder, please give the speaker your polite attention and refrain from conversations during the presentation.
