It is dues time again. For those receiving the Rhumb Line by snail mail, your dues notice is attached to this issue. For those receiving the Rhumb Line by email, your dues notice will arrive by snail mail soon. Each year, we have members who decide to discontinue their membership in the club, for one reason or another. We would ask that if you do not intend to renew, please let us know and also let us know why if you will. In the effort to update and distribute the membership list, our board members end up having to make phone calls to each person who has NOT responded to determine if they intend to renew.

It is very helpful to return the dues notice with any updated information you need to communicate. If you don't return the form, we can only assume that all information as printed is correct.

And finally, your annual dues of $125.00 (34 cents per day mind you) is a great value if you participate in our various events. Deeply discounted event charges (if any) are a just one way you get your money's worth. But in order to reap those benefits, you need to participate as much as you can. With as many events as we put on the schedule, we recognize that few, if any, members can attend them all. We hope to have the calendar of events in the next issue, so look for it and begin to mark you calendars with those dates.
